Its Ola back with ”Two in One” card made for WOW Embossing Powders Monthly Challenge.
This month challenge is all about everything and anything that is used to create a gorgeous projects and here is my contribution to this awesome challenge.
To create my first card ,I have used an intricate floral background die by Sizzix . I have die cut it out of a white cards stock and placed on the scrap of paper to protect my worktop. Then I have used WOW embossing pad to cover die cut piece completely before placing 10cm x 13.5 cm piece of white cards stock underneath .
I have firmly stamped all the negative spaces on the intricate die cut again to ensure that I get good impression on the cardstock piece underneath.
As I am using my die cut piece as my stencil , all the negative cuts are transferred to cardstock underneath creating gorgeous background for card #2.
Now is the time to cover both of the pieces with WOW embossing powders. I have used new range of powders called Glinz for both of my cards.
For the sentiments I have stamped and embossed ”Thanks” sentiment by Honey Bee stamps on the piece of velum , and fuzzy cut for card number one and use a strip for card number two.

Here is my inspirational card for Summer+Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop in collaboration with WOW embossing powders.
It Is Ola and I am back with my final card for my series of ”5 cards in 5 days with WOW ”. Today I am going to show you how to create a floral card using Masking Technique.
For this cardmaking tutorial you will need:
White Card blank
Gold pearlescent card
WOW Embossing pad
Floral stamp set
I have started this card by stamping and fussy cutting the flowers of a scrap piece of paper to create a mask. Masking technique is used to create illusion that one object is behind the other. I will be creating vision that one of the flower is behind other, as well as my leaves will be behind my bouquet. Let me show you!
I have stamped large flower on the top left corer of white cardstock with WOW clear embossing pad and gently covered with mask. Then I have stamped smaller flower on top of my mask shifting slightly to the right.
When I remove my mask it looks like the smaller flower is hidden behind larger flower. Lets repeat all steps on other side of cardstock.
When all flowers are stamped and embossed , time to stamp the leaves. I have covered both large and small flower with mask and stamped my leaves in the way that some of them are stamped directly on the mask and some not. When I removed all the masking I have created illusion that leaves are behind the flowers.
Now is the time to add sentiment and assemble my card. I have used Simon Says Stamp sentiment stamp and stamped using black versa mark ink.
I have mounted a piece of gold pearlescent card onto card blank before adding my top panel.
To finish my card I have added pink gemstones in the center of all flower and here we have floral card using Masking Technique.

I do hope you enjoyed this series of 5 card made in 5 days with WOW and get inspired to created beautiful cards yourself!
I am back with card number four for my ” 5 cards in 5 days with WOW” series of cards. Today I am going to show you ”Emboss and colour in on Vellum” technique.
You will need : White Card blank White cards stock Patterned paper Vellum Floral Stamp set Copic or any other markers
So lets get started by stamping the floral stamp on a 10 x 14 cm white card stock piece in the top right corner.
I have used ”Tonic Studio” Flourish stamp set and Ebony Black embossing powder.
I have trimmed a vertical strip out of embossed cardstock in the way that part of the leaves are hanging out. For my next step I have used patterned paper to replace the strip of cardstock which I have just cut off.
Then I have stamped same stamp on a vellum using Embossing pad and heat emboss with Clear Matt Dull embossing powder. Using circle cutting dies, I have die cut my flower which I have stamped on the vellum and on the reversed side I have used Copic Markers to colour it.
Now lets assemble the card by gently gluing the vellum on the same stamped and embossed image but on the cardstock and here we have an outline.
For my sentiment I have dies cut 3 pieces of ”Thanks ” sentiment by Pink and Main and glued them together to create bit of dimension , but first I have embossed one of them with Gloss Embossing Powder to add bit of shimmer. I have finished my card by adding few enamel dots.

It is Ola here and I am back with card number two in my series of ”5 cards in 5 days with WOW” floral cards.
In today’s video tutorial I will show you the emboss resist technique with distress ink.
This is very popular and well known technique by many papercrafters, but if you newbie and want to learn something new lets get started.
To make this card you will need:
White card stock
Clear , white or any neutral colour embossing powder
Flower and leaf die
I have started my card by stamping my background stamp on white card stock piece. I am using WOW ”Secret Garden” background stamp and Clear Matt Dull embossing powder. After I set heated my stamped image its look very blank and not so visible, but after using distress ink, magic happens! Embossed parts will resist distress ink and will remain clear or white depend on the colour of embossing powder you previously have used.
Now my background, to finished I am going to trim this piece slightly smaller than standard card and mount this piece using 3D foam pad. I have used 10mm double sating ribbon across my card and glued die cut sentiment directly on my ribbon.
To finish my card I have die cut 3 flowers out of burgundy card stock and added to my card using foam pad. Adding die cut leaf and enamel dots in the centers of the flowers will finish my card for today.

I hope you liked it and get inspired. Please come back tomorrow for more ideas on how you use WOW embossing powders!
It’s Ola here and in the next five days I’m going to show you five cards made in five days for WOW embossing powders.
This months challenge is all about flowers, so, for my next five card and video tutorials, I will be using WOW products to create floral theme cards only .
So let’s get started ! For my first card, I have decided to create a card with technique that I call ”Colour in with WOW”. Yes, that is correct. I will be using a WOW embossing pen to colour in my stamped image.
In order to create this card you will need an embossing pen and pad, embossing powder and floral stamp.
The step number one I die cut rectangular scalloped edge frame and covered edges with masking tape. I done this in order to created background only in the center of my die cut piece. I have used script stamp from ”Wall Art” stamp set by WOW embossing. I have stamped and embossed my script text with Gold Rich embossing powder and moved to the next step is to create flower and leaf. For my flower and leaf I have selected stamps from the latest Craft Magazine and stamped with Ultra Slow drying embossing pad and emboss with the Ebony black embossing powder.
I have used WOW embossing pen and brush stroke movements to colour in edges and centers of the leaf and the flower. Then I have used Primary Yellow Regular embossing powder for the flowers and Metalline Green for the leaf and heat set it with WOW heat tool. I have mounted the embossed rectangular piece onto card blank and die cut sentiment ”With Love ” using black card stock. I have added flower and leaf onto my card using 3D foam to create some dimension and the card is finished.

This is my inspirational card for this month Facebook Fan page Challenge by @wowembossing .
This month theme is Foils. Don’t forget to visit @wowembossing and enter for the chance to win $15/£15 gift voucher!!! Don’t miss out.
For this month Fan page challenge as well as my monthly blog post I have created cards with WOW embossing foils.
During the video tutorial I will show you how to create your own pearlescent card if you don’t have any.
You can die cut a scalloped edge rectangular piece and heat emboss it using Wows new range of embossing powders called Glintz.
In my case I have used Rose Gold Glintz Embossing powder and the result is stunning.
For step number two I have used a floral stamp and stamped it across my card.
Next I have used a Wow bonding powder and set heated in the same way as any regular embossing powder, but making sure that I have applied foil while the bonding powder is still warm.
Remember to leave it till it is completely cool down before peeling the foil off and of we go!
Finally, I am going to assemble my card. For this particular card I have decided to replace the card blank with vellum blank (card blank made out of vellum). I have also pre die cut three scalloped edge rectangular pieces to mount inside. I also did this to the back of the vellum to cover all the imperfections and make a space for your inside message.
And here we have Vellum card with Rose Gold foil flowers.
